I am travelling regularly in Eranad Express (16606) from my home town Kollam to my work place at Ernakulam. As a daily rail traveller this train is always late on all days except on Monday. Today (28.05.2018) this train reached Kollam Railway Station at 04.50 AM, 20 minutes late from its scheduled arrival and stayed there until 6.10 AM. When I informed to the train guard about this halt, he replied that the loco pilot duty was over and a new one has to take over the charge. At this time Palaruvi Express to Palakkad departed from platform No.1A without any official information regarding the departure of the same. This deficiency of service from the part of railway authorities adversely affecting all passengers especially with small kids. My humble request is to find out the root cause for this delay and try to get this fixed.
